Destiny 2 - The Collection Key Art

The Destiny 2 Collection Art was a fun final Key Art project to work on for Destiny 2.

Our goal was straightforward: to showcase iconic armor and imagery that felt representative of the Destiny 2 franchise, while maintaining a strong compositional connection to the original Destiny Collection poster I created in 2016 ( https://www.artstation.com/artwork/m0mZd ). At the same time, we pushed the lighting and tone in a moodier direction to better reflect the brand and narrative journey we've been on throughout Destiny 2's lifetime.

The final art was built using a blend of high-resolution renders and in-game captures that I custom lit and posed before painting over them to enhance clarity, lighting, and overall visual impact.

None of it would have been possible without the incredible 3D source art from Bungie's Concept, Skybox, 3D Character, and Hard Surface teams.
